THINGS KIDS SAY

Taya: Oh no mom, I better hurry! I have to go to the peanut factory.
Me: What do you mean the peanut factory?
Taya: Duh mom, I have to poop and the bathroom is where I make peanuts.
Well, I guess we can tell she has older brothers!

Taya is in love with one specific doll and has named her Lexi. While I was getting ready for the day Taya was sitting on my bed with the doll and " her diaper bag." She was talking to the doll and changing its clothes when she turned to me and said,
Taya: I just told my baby that you were her grandma. Isn't that so cool!
Me: Yeah, I love that.
Then after a few moments of her pondering she says.
Taya: Kinda funny that my grandma looks younger than you and your not even a real grandma yet.
I then applied a little more make-up!.

I was in a rush cleaning up the house from an afternoon of babysitting and getting the kids ready for baseball and I heard Taya in the bathroom....
Me: Taya you better not be making a mess, what are you doing in there?
Taya: Taking a crap mom, give me a minute.

While hanging out with the kids watching t.v. and settling down for the night, 18 kids and counting comes on TLC and in an amazed voice,
Braxtan: WOW! I bet the eat a lot of cereal!

Because the kids were out of school for the rest of the week, I figured I would keep them busy with a trip to the swimming pool. After we were done swimming we stopped by Maverik to get an icee and when we got home Braydan and Braxtan were sitting at the counter enjoying their treat, not knowing that I was actually listening to them.
Braxtan: These are so yummy, I am so glad mom bought us a slushy.
Braydan: Me too!
Braxtan: I wonder how Jesus made these?
Braydan: With sugar, Braxtan, he made them with a lot of sugar.

While at a wrestling tournament Taya took the liberty in combing our friend Daves hair, apparently he had not done a good enough job and thank goodness he is very patient! After about ten minutes Taya finally combs the top into a frohock and calls it good. Of course when she finds something else to do Dave flattens it out, After about 30 minutes Taya catches up with him and this is what was said.
TAYA: What happened to your mow hawk?
DAVE: I dont know.
TAYA: You are really ticken me off, I liked that Mow hawk.

TAYA: Grandma, you are weird.
Grandma: You are weird
Taya: You are really weird grandma.
Grandma: You are really weird.
Taya: My mom is really weird because she married my dad.

Braydan: Mom I have to tell you the truth about something.
Me: Okay Bray, its always best to tell the truth.
Braydan: Ahh Mom, you are the best cook ever!

Braxtan: Mom does everyone have a maid?
Me: No, I don't think very many people do.
Braxtan: Does everyone have a mom?
Me: Yeah
Braxtan: After thinking for a moment, Well if everyone has a mom then its kinda like they have maids because moms are like maids.

Taya: Mommy, I dont want to kiss monsters and ugly boys, I just want to kiss cute boys. I want to kiss alot of cute boys, okay.

Braxtan: "Can dogs really talk?"
Me: No, that is just on t.v.
Braxtan: " What if we feed them alphabet soup?"

Braxtan: "Mom I have really been thinking about something."
Me: " What is it?"
Braxtan: " I was thinking that I need to start loving you more."

Taya: Mom, is Braydan a Prince
Me: "Yeah"
Taya: "Is Braxtan"
Me: "Yeah"
Taya: "Im a princess, huh"
Me: "You sure are"
Taya: "Is Daddy a king"
Me: "Sure"
Taya: While looking at me with a confused stare." Your just a mom, huh."

Ice Fishing

So I haven't posted a blog in forever. Here are some of out latest adventures and happenings.

We took the kids ice fishing for the first time. Tony also had never been and I had only been a couple of times when I was little. We had an awesome time and the kids had a blast! We had so much fun that we stayed all day. We got up there around 7 am and didnt leave until after 4.
