!!!HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAYDAN BOY!!!

Happy 8th birthday Bray! We are so proud of you and love you very much! You are always willing to help and never complain about it! Thank you for being such and easy, happy kid! You make our lives easy! We hope it is a good birthday for you and all your wishes come true!
Braydan has decided to pick a few friends and take them to Ninja for dinner. He has also enlisted me to make him an R2D2 cake. We will have to see how that turns out!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

So again I am late posting pictures! Here are some pics of the kids in their costumes. Every year we get together with all of the neighbors kids to go trick or treating. We light up the trailer with halloween lights and either pull in with the rhino or a truck. They love it and I am going to be sad when they don't want to do it anymore!

Taya was a geisha
Braydan and his friend Jordan where ninjas.
Braxtan wanted to be something bloody so we bought these clothes at the DI and he made his own costume this year. He was a zombie.

Its the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!

Since the kids didn't have school on Friday I thought that it would be a good day to take a trip over to the pumpkin patch in paragonah. It worked out good and we were able to go with some cousins. My kids love their cousins and any opportunity they can get to hang out with them they are ecstatic! It seems to make things funner for them! Everyone found their "perfect" pumpkin. We have taken them every year for the last 7 years and they love it! I have always told them to keep their eyes out for Charlie Brown and still they ask me if he really lives there.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAXTAN!

Braxtan got to take all of his friends to funtime inflatables and then we brought them back home to have cake and ice cream. He had a blast and is already planning his party for next year.
Brax, you are a funny kid and are always making us laugh! We love how you try to be so tough and strong but of all our kids you are the one who is the most sensitive and tender hearted! We love your goofy little grin and how you can make us smile no matter what! We hope you had a good birthday and will have a great year being 6! We love you!

bOy Vs WiLd

The other day I was in cleaning the house and the kids were out in the front yard playing and riding bikes..... well that is what I thought. When I went outside there was a bunch of sticks and rocks taped to the blocks and power boxes. Upon investigation I was able to figure out that they were in fact lizard traps. When I asked where they learned how to make traps they told me they learned it from Bear. I was so confused and asked them who in the heck is Bear? "Ya know mom, Bear Grylls on Man vs Wild, he knows how to make all sorts of amazing traps. Those traps can save your life if you know how to make them right! They will catch you food." I hope I don't find them eating raw lizards anytime in the near..... or distant future!

!*!A Day of First !*!

We had a lot of first at our house today! Braxtan started his first day of Kindergarten and had an awesome time! I was walking him to his class today and asked him if he was excited. He told me yes but that his eyes were sweating. (This is what he says when he crying a little but does not want anyone to know.) When I asked him why they were sweating he looked up at me and said, "ahh mom, I am just gonna miss ya." Now that is a kid after my heart! Then he was able to ride the bus home from school for the first time. He did not think that was so hot because it took for ever! They were on the bus for about 45 minutes. Hopefully that was just a first day deal!
After Braxtan got home it was time to take little Taya to her first day of school. She has been so excited to go but I thought for sure she would get shy and not want to stay. Boy was I wrong. She bopped right into class, hung up her backpack, gave me a kissie, then told me it was time to go. Then when I picked her up she ran out the door yelling, " I GOT TO PAINT." She hasn't stopped talking about going back. I am so grateful I have never had to fight any of my kids to go to school! I have not had one tear or whine from them when it comes to that stuff, man I love it!
Braxtan had a very big day! After we took Taya to school we came home so he could finish his lunch. He had been telling me that he had a loose tooth and I just dismissed it thinking he was to little and he was just trying to be like Braydan. Stupid me, I finally checked it yesterday and it was super loose and the other tooth was already coming up behind it. So after he ate I gave it a little yank and it came right out! He is so excited! Speaking of his excitement, I better get going to bed so the tooth fairy can come!

**First day of 2nd grade**

I felt lost today without Braydan. People keep asking me if I miss my helper. Although he is my best helper that is not why I missed him! I missed the 500 hugs and kisses he gave me everyday of the summer! I hope he knows that he is going to have to make that up after school and on the weekends. We love you Bray and hope you have an awesome year!

!!!NO FEAR!!!

On Sunday Tony and I had a conversation about how unsafe it was for Braydan to be riding his motorcycle without boots. Now a lot of you are probably thinking no shit, but those dang things are expensive and he has grown 3 shoe sizes since summer began. He wears a helmet, chest protector, riding pants, knee pads, gloves, but no boots. We both agreed that we would start looking for boots so that he could ride again... Not 4 hours later Braydan decided that he would like to go for a ride. He kept asking and asking and we gave in. Tony took him down behind the house with Braxtan on the fourwheeler. After a little while me and Taya took a walk down there to see if we could see them. After talking with them and watching Bray ride, me and Taya headed home to make dinner while the boys went for a little longer ride. As soon as I walked in the door the phone was ringing. It was Tony asking me if I would bring the rhino down to get Braydan cause he had went off a jump and hurt his ankle. Needless to say this is what I found when I got there. Poor kid! It is so sore and swollen! Later I found out that he jumped of a pile of dirt and landed over 6 feet away from the jump. Bray now thinks this is awesome and wants to try it again when his ankle gets better and we buy him some boots. I am thinking about getting secondary health insurance for him. He scares the crap out of me!
